Russia will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 and will select their entry through a national final, organised by the Russian broadcaster RTR.
On 28 December 2011, RTR confirmed their participation in the Eurovision Song Contets 2012 in Baku.[1]
Auditions will be held until February 2012. A special jury will select a total of 25 acts to proceed to the national final, to be aired on 26 February 2012 on Russia 1. Previously, all finalist songs will be published on the broadcaster's website. The winner will be decided through jury voting and televoting.[2]
